May have missed it but is he asking for a 8 team playoff too..Wasn't that supposed to be FSU's excuse to start the process of getting out of the ACC..If so and if we are partnered up with them then TDP and their AD should be on the same page right??

He should have just omce out and said that last year was a joke and a screw job against OSU who had a harder schedule then Bama, who also had their shot at being undefeated and screwed up.

I hate the whole ranking system. First of all if you lose one game you feel like the season is over (which is ridiculous). With about 119 teams how do you realistically rate them, especially some teams you never play or will ever play. It should always go by wins and loses. (I still can't figure out why Auburn would rank higher than us if we beat them twice). I'm for making 8 conferences, then having a playoff with the winner from each conference. It would levell the play field with all the conferences since each conference has a chance every year to win it all.

a conf champion playoff alone would be ridiculous. You'd have teams in it that have no business being there.

4 teams is not enough. 16 would be ideal. Anyone in the top 16 could get hot and win it all.
